We love this organization of women committed to, "promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers." Their purpose is exclusively educational and charitable, and we love getting involved in this event every year.
What is the Sweetheart Ball?
The Sweetheart Ball is a special event where fathers and daughters can eat a meal together, dance to a DJ's music, have photos taken, and enjoy a candy bar, mocktails, caricatures, raffle tickets, and much more. We especially love the Keys to the Castle giveaway where attendees can win prizes. Look at we are donating this year with a combined value of the jewelry we have given is $500.00!

This is such a fun event, and it sells out fast every year. In fact, there will be even more limited availability due to COVID-19 this time.
However, there will be updated COVID procedures in place to help keep everyone safe with two options. There will be an 11:30 a.m. brunch which is preferable for girls 5 years old or younger. This brunch includes everything the evening event dinner provides plus an additional carving station. The traditional evening dinner at 6:00 p.m. is recommended for young ladies aged 6 and up.
Taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach, tickets are $150.00 for one, father/daughter pair and $35.00 for an additional daughter and available at https://daytonabeach.jl.org/sweetheart-ball/. Note that all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. (Hopefully, there are still tickets available when you read this!)
