1. Vow to check your prongs twice this year.
Do this once when we "spring forward" and once when we "fall back" with the time changes. The peace of mind this will bring you, ensuring that your precious diamonds are safely in their settings, is priceless- especially because it costs nothing at Masterpiece Jewelers and we even clean your rings at the same time!

2. Wear your jewelry in the pool less (or not at all).
It has been proven that chlorine in pools eats away at gold. Usually it is a slow process, but why risk it!?
3. Pinky swear that you won't ever put jewelry in Kleenex, no matter what!
In our speaking programs, we often tell folks tales of how people have thrown away Kleenex, wrongly thinking it was used in the traditional way (ugh!) and pitch the "offending" Kleenex into the trash with your jewelry in it!
4. Promise yourself you will consider selling, trading or redesigning the jewelry that is just sitting in your jewelry box.
