Due to COVID-19, we were forced to close our store late last week. We really appreciate all of your kindness and support in the last few weeks.

As we move forward in the next stage of battling this disease, we have a few thoughts to share.
• Follow Guidelines.
While it may be very difficult to stay home, keep your distance from others and wash your hands frequently, please follow the guidelines that are out there for your specific state. Even if you don’t think you can get COVID-19, you can accidentally share it with your parents, grandparents or other loved ones who are vulnerable to the disease… and that is just not the “gift” you want to give!
• Try to Stay Positive.
Try to be kind to others and stay positive. Share a smile and a kind word whenever possible. Call or email your friends and family members to make sure they are o.k.
If you are an extrovert or leader, share your strength and positive comments with others. If you are an introvert or just really sad about this entire situation, stay away from the news and watch funny television shows, read uplifting books and articles, take a walk, chat with a friend, and do things that make you happy.
Remember, this is temporary, and we will get through this. This too shall pass.
• Seek Help.
If you are struggling to pay your bills, get food on the table for your family or just want to talk to someone, know that there are many ways you can get help.

If you need personal assistance and/or emotional support, check with local churches, non-profits and community organizations like United Way, https://www.unitedway.org/recovery/covid19, The Salvation Army, https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/, and more.
Simply do an online search for assistance in your area. You can even call your local newspaper or television/radio station, and they will have lists of helpful organizations and services available.
