- clean and check your jewelry.
Have you had the prongs, clasps, and more checked lately?
Soap, dirt, hand sanitizer, and more can build up on your rings, bracelets, earrings, and more. Plus, carrying grocery bags, gardening, cooking, and other activities can damage your jewelry. Without knowing it, you may look down at your jewelry and notice that it has lost its luster.
Even worse, you may notice that your diamonds and other gems have completely fallen out never to be seen again!
This is a worst-case scenario, but it can happen. For example, we had a customer come into the store and noticed that her diamond engagement ring was packed with soap and cleaning agents. As a nurse, she was constantly washing her hands and also wore gloves every day.
Little did she realize that over time, all of these chemicals had dulled her diamond. Taking gloves on and off regularly had weakened the prongs of her ring, and the only thing holding her diamond in place was a glob of soap and residue!
Obviously, we cleaned and fixed her ring for her right away, but this reminded us to share this information with you. Please don't risk losing the stones out of your jewelry!
Have it checked and cleaned by a professional jeweler. Most jewelers will do this for a very low cost. Not only will you be able to confirm that your jewelry is in good condition, but it will be super shiny for your first day of school!
- Stand out from the crowd.
You can start from scratch and design the perfect piece of jewelry you've always dreamed of right alongside an experienced, award-winning jeweler. Or, you can even take an old piece of jewelry or gemstone from a family member and turn it into something new that matches your style and personality.
This way, you have a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece that has a lot of meaning to you. It will put you in a good mood when you look at it. Plus, unique jewelry always makes for a great conversation starter to meet new friends!
- Be unique on a budget.
Here at our online and physical store, there are many different pieces for you to choose from. They are unique and have gone through our thorough, quality inspection process. You receive the same guarantee on all of our estate jewelry as purchasing a new piece of jewelry. But best of all, these pieces are a fraction of the cost of buying them new if they were even available! You get the best of both worlds... unique, beautiful jewelry to show off while saving money!
