Spring Break Tips from your Jewelry Store Near Ormond Beach
Where exactly is Ormond Beach?
Well, it’s a city with over 42,500 residents just about 20 minutes north of our jewelry shop in Daytona Beach. It feels like a small town with a historic downtown, but there are all kinds of hotels, stores, beaches, restaurants, and more to enjoy. The area is known for all of the water activities available on the Atlantic Ocean. Plus, it’s just a little more than an hour away from Orlando.
What can you do there?
You'll love having some fun in the sun at Ormond Beach, the Andy Romano Beachfront Park and the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail. Then, you can take a break from being outdoors and check out The Casements, the home of the Cultural Center for the City of Ormond Beach, Florida.
Near the Halifax River, “the late John D. Rockefeller's winter home is known as ‘The Jewel of Ormond Beach,’ and has been officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a Florida Heritage Site,” per the official website at http://www.thecasements.net/. Here, you can stroll through the mansion/museum at your leisure and see various exhibits and events.
Another inside attraction is The Ormond Garage. Previously called “Gasoline Alley,” race car enthusiasts will love the history and various exhibits.
Where can you shop and eat?
After visiting the many cultural activities and events the city has to offer, you can find some great shopping at Fountain Square Shopping Village, Trails Shopping Center, Ellinor Village Shopping Center, and more.
And don't forget to stop by and say, "Hi!" We’d love to meet you in person at our jewelry store near Ormond Beach at 1500 Beville Rd., Suite #404-2. You’ll discover beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces, and we also buy and sell gold. There is always something new available, and the store is full of fun surprises!
