We are holding this event because it benefits the local, Southeast Volusia Humane Society. This is "a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Volusia County that uses volunteers and donor support to care for 2,000 animals a year."
Donations help this organization give animals in the local area a safe, healthy and happy environment and they allow them to provide "beneficial programs throughout the year."
As animal lovers who love our adopted pets ourselves (Stacy has her adopted dog "Trixie," and Tracy has her adopted cat "The Doctor"), we hope that you will help us support this wonderful organization.
