Why is it amazing???
- You get to "meet" an award-winning gem cutter, Clay Zava.
- Clay is one of VERY few American lapidaries.
- It is truly rare to KNOW the person who cut your gemstone.
- You have the opportunity to OWN one (or more) of his exquisite designs!
- You'll see gems from about $300 to gems over $10,000 (though there are only a couple of those!)
- It will give you fun knowledge to share at cocktail parties (whenever we have them again!)
Don't miss out on all the fun!

Who is Gemcutter Clay Zava?
We met award-winning American gem cutter Clay Zava by pure chance at an industry event lunch a few years back. Since then, he has come to Masterpiece Jewelers for the invitational-only Gemstone Roundtable events where we have custom-designed amazing jewelry pieces with many of these Zavacuts gems!
Constantly studying light, minerals and form, Zava's gemstones express his artistic vision reflecting an unusual balance between precision and grace. Known for his creativity with classic, gem-cutting styles, Clay works regularly with top jewelry designers and private collectors worldwide.
Each stone is hand selected, painstakingly cut, and calculated for maximum brilliance. Zava has worked with a wide variety of gem materials and has designed cuts for over 40 individual Spectrum Award winning jewelry pieces.
Clay is also a delightful, humble person who is so knowledgeable and generous with that knowledge.
